KELEBIHAN DAN TANTANGAN REMOTE WORK UNTUK GENERASI Z

Abstrak

Fenomena remote work semakin populer setelah covid 19. Generasi Z merupakan salah satu kelompok yang paling terpengaruh oleh perubahan ini. Remote work adalah pada pengaturan kerja di mana karyawan melaksanakan tugas mereka di lokasi selain lingkungan kantor tradisional. Bekerja dari jarak jauh memungkinkan kita untuk bekerja dari mana saja dan kapan saja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelebihan dan tantangan remote work untuk generasi Z.  Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur di mana penelitian dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan data dari sumber-sumber kepustakaan kemudian membaca, mencatat dan mengelola data tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini ialah dengan cara mengumpulkan data berbagai sumber seperti buku, karya ilmiah, dll. Metode analisis yang digunakan ialah metode analisis data sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa remote work yang semakin populer khususnya pada Generasi Z yang tumbuh dengan perkembangan teknologi, memiliki kelebihan baik bagi perusahaan maupun bagi pekerja. Namun di sisi lain, pekerjaan ini juga memiliki tantangan yang harus diperhatikan. Untuk itu, perlu strategi untuk dalam bekerja jarak jauh agar kelebihan remote work dapat digunakan semakimal mungkin dan Generasi Z juga dapat menghadapi tantangan dalam bekerja jarak jauh.

The phenomenon of remote work has become increasingly popular after COVID-19. Generation Z is one of the groups most affected by this change. Remote work is a work arrangement where employees carry out their duties at locations other than the traditional office environment. Working remotely allows us to work from anywhere and at any time. This study aims to determine the advantages and challenges of remote work for Generation Z. This research method uses a literature study approach where research is conducted by collecting data from library sources, then reading, recording, and managing the data. The data collection technique in this study is by collecting data from various sources such as books, scientific papers, etc. The analytical method used is the secondary data analysis method. The results of the study show that remote work, which is increasingly popular, especially among Generation Z who grew up with technological developments, has advantages for both companies and workers. However, on the other hand, this work also has challenges that must be considered. Therefore, a strategy is needed for remote work so that the advantages of remote work can be utilized as much as possible and Generation Z can also face the challenges of working remotely.
