This study explores the influence of the Korean language on Indonesian speaking styles with TikTok as the main platform of diffusion. Expressions such as aigoo, jinjja, eotteokhae, and meokbang appear widely in short videos, serving not as direct translations but as stylistic markers for humor, identity, and emotional tone. The research applies a qualitative descriptive method, focusing on viral TikTok videos and their comment sections posted between January and September 2025. Data were analyzed to identify code-mixing patterns, emotional functions, and the role of TikTok features in spreading Korean expressions. Findings show three main dimensions: (1) linguistic borrowing, where Korean words are adapted into Indonesian sentences with new intonation; (2) cultural resonance, where language signals K-pop and K-drama fandom; and (3) platform mediation, where TikTok trends and hashtags accelerate diffusion. The study concludes that these hybrid expressions reshape youth communication in Indonesia and highlight TikTok’s role as a space for cross-cultural language exchange.
