ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN REPRESENTASI SISWA MELALUI SOAL DERET ARITMATIKA BERBASIS OPEN ENDED DIKELAS XI SMA AL FAQIHIL MUQODDAM

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan representasi siswa pada katagori tinggi , sedang dan rendah. dalam meyelesaikan soal open ended pada siswa SMA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam siswa penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas XI SMA Al Faqihil Muqoddam. Pengelompokan siswa yaitu berdasarkan hasil tes soal open ended yang telah diselesaikan siswa , kemudian dipilih 6 subjek untuk diwawancarai agar mengetahui bagimana kemampuan representasi siswa dalam meyelesaikan soal open ended. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa : (1) sebanyak 16,67% siswa termasuk dalam katagori kemampuan represntase tinggi dengan siswa (ST) mampu memenuhi indikator pada aspek visual dengan persentase sebesar 33,33% memenuhi aspek simbolik dengan persentase 95% dan memenuhi aspek verbal sebesar 67%. (2) sebanyak 40% siswa termasuk dalam katagori yang memeliki kemampuan representase sedang dengan siswa (SS) mampu memenuhi aspek visual dengan persentase sebesar 50% mengetahui aspek simbolik dengan persentase 26% mengetahui aspek visual dengan persentase 35% (3) sebanyak 26% siswa termasuk dalam katagori kemampuan representasi rendah dengan siswa (SR) mampu memenuhi indikotir visul dengan persentase sebesar 6% memanuhi aspek simbolik dengan persentase sebesar 8% mampu memenuhi aspek verbal dengan persentase sebanyak 4%.
This study aims to determine the students' representation abilities in three categories: high, medium, and low, in solving open-ended problems among high school students. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The research subjects were 11th-grade students of SMA Al Faqihil Muqoddam. The students were grouped based on the results of open-ended test questions they had completed. Then, six students were selected for interviews to explore how they represented their thinking in solving the open-ended problems. The result of the study show that: (1) About 16,67% of students fall into the high representation ability category. These students (ST) were able to fulfill the indicators in the visual aspect with a percentage of 75%, the symbolic aspect with 95%, and the verbal aspect with 67% (2) About 33,33% of students fall into the medium representation ability category. These students (SS) were able to fulfill the visual aspect with 24%, the symbolic aspect with 26%. and the varbwl aspect with 35%, (3) About 50% of students fall into the low representation ability category. These students (SR) were able to fulfill the visual aspect with 6%, the symbolic aspect with 8%, and the verbal aspect with only 4%..
