PENGARUH MODEL OH RATS (OVERVIEW, HEADINGS, READ, ANSWER, TEST-STUDY) BERBANTUAN MEDIA PADLET TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENGIDENTIFIKASI MAJAS DALAM TEKS PUISI SISWA KELAS X SMA SWASTA YAPIM SIMPANG KAWAT

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran OH RATS (Overview, Headings, Read, Answer, Test–Study) berbantuan media Padlet terhadap kemampuan mengidentifikasi majas dalam teks puisi siswa kelas X SMA Swasta YAPIM Simpang Kawat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain dua kelompok, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes kemampuan mengidentifikasi majas dalam teks puisi (posttest). Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji Independent Samples t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata posttest kelas kontrol sebesar 60,47, sedangkan kelas eksperimen sebesar 77,58. Nilai signifikansi 0,001 < 0,05 menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan penerapan model pembelajaran OH RATS berbantuan Padlet terhadap kemampuan mengidentifikasi majas dalam teks puisi siswa. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran OH RATS berbantuan Padlet efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada materi mengidentifikasi majas dalam teks puisi. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan nilai kelas kontrol sebesar 0,168 dan kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,340. Penelitian menggunakan taraf signifikansi 0,05, sehingga Ha diterima karena hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan siswa dan data berdistribusi normal.
This study aims to determine the effect of the OH RATS (Overview, Headings, Read, Answer, Test–Study) learning model assisted by Padlet media on the ability to identify figures of speech in poetry texts of tenth-grade students at SMA Swasta YAPIM Simpang Kawat. The research method used was an experimental method with a two-group design, namely the experimental class and the control class. The data collection technique was carried out through a test of the ability to identify figures of speech in poetry texts (posttest). Data analysis used normality test, homogeneity test, and Independent Samples t-test. The results showed that the average posttest score of the control class was 60.47, while the experimental class was 77.58. The significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 indicates that there is a significant effect of the implementation of the OH RATS learning model assisted by Padlet on students’ ability to identify figures of speech in poetry texts. Thus, the OH RATS learning model assisted by Padlet is effective to be used in Indonesian language learning, especially in identifying figures of speech in poetry texts. The results of the normality test showed that the value of the control class was 0.168 and the experimental class was 0.340. This study used a significance level of 0.05, so Ha was accepted because the data analysis results indicated an improvement in students' abilities and the data were normally distributed.
