MODIFIKASI PERILAKU KONSISTENSI TASHIH MAHASANTRI MELALUI REINFORCEMENT POSITIF

Abstrak

Rendahnya konsistensi kehadiran dan kegagalan memenuhi target setoran bacaan Al-Qur'an (tashih) pada mahasantri baru di Ma’had Al-Jami'ah UIN Malang masih kerap terjadi. Diketahui pendaftar remidi tashih mencapai 245 mahasantri dari berbagai angkatan (2019–2024). belum tercapainya target dikaitkan dengan berbagai kendala, seperti minimnya jumlah setoran per hari, ketidakteraturan kehadiran tashih, benturan jadwal dengan perkuliahan, hingga kurang optimalnya ketersediaan mushohih/ah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas modifikasi perilaku menggunakan teknik positive reinforcement melalui WhatsApp dalam meningkatkan konsistensi kehadiran tashih harian. Enam mahasantriwati (N=6) dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling. Eksperimen berlangsung selama 14 hari operasional yang terbagi atas 7 hari fase baseline (A) dan 7 hari fase intervensi (B). Data dari buku monitoring resmi dan laporan harian WhatsApp dianalisis menggunakan analisis visual serta statistik Tau-U. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dampak positive reinforcement tidak seragam pada seluruh subjek. Intervensi terbukti efektif dan signifikan secara statistik hanya pada Subjek 4 (S4), dengan skor Tau 0,7551 dan p-value 0,0181 (p < 0,05). Subjek 1 dan 3 menunjukkan tren positif namun tidak signifikan, sedangkan Subjek 2, 5, dan 6 cenderung stagnan akibat dominasi hambatan personal dan eksternal seperti kepadatan jadwal kuliah dan kelelahan. Kesimpulannya, penguatan positif melalui pesan teks efektif secara individual, namun keberhasilannya sangat bergantung pada nilai subjektif stimulus dan hambatan kontekstual masing-masing mahasantri.

The low consistency of attendance and failure to meet the Al-Qur'an reading deposit targets (tashih) among new mahasantri at Ma’had Al-Jami'ah UIN Malang still frequently occur. It is known that the number of registrants for the tashih remedial program reached 245 mahasantri from various cohorts (2019–2024). The unmet targets are associated with various constraints, such as the minimal number of daily deposits, irregular tashih attendance, schedule conflicts with university lectures, and the sub-optimal availability of mushohih/ah. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of behavior modification using positive reinforcement techniques via WhatsApp in increasing the consistency of daily tashih attendance. Six mahasantriwati (N=6) were selected using purposive sampling. The experiment was conducted over 14 operational days, divided into a 7-day baseline phase (A) and a 7-day intervention phase (B). Data from official monitoring books and verified WhatsApp daily reports were analyzed using visual analysis and Tau-U statistics. The results indicated that the impact of positive reinforcement was not uniform across all subjects. The intervention was proven to be effective and statistically significant only for Subject 4 (S4), with a Tau score of 0.7551 and a p-value of 0.0181 (p < 0.05). Subjects 1 and 3 showed a positive but non-significant trend, while Subjects 2, 5, and 6 tended to be stagnant due to the dominance of personal and external barriers, such as crowded academic schedules and fatigue. In conclusion, positive reinforcement via text messages is effective individually, but its success highly depends on the subjective value of the stimulus and the contextual barriers of each mahasantri
