HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN PERAWAT DENGAN PENERAPAN ATRAUMATIC CARE PADA ANAK PRA SEKOLAH SAAT HOSPITALISASI DI RSUD DR. ABDOER RAHEM SITUBONDO

Di Indonesia, diperkirakan lebih dari lima juta anak dirawat di rumah sakit, 50% di antaranya menderita kecemasan dan stres terkait hospitalisasi. Penerapan atraumatic care dapat menurunkan kecemasan sebagai dampak menjalani hospitalisasi. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi penerapan atraumatic care saat menjalani hospitalisasi yaitu pengetahuan perawat. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan pengetahuan perawat dengan penerapan Atraumatic Care pada anak pra sekolah saat hospitalisasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional dan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi adalah semua perawat pelaksana yang pernah merawat pasien anak di Ruang Wilis, Rinjani, Kerinci, Mutiara, Flamboyan, PICU dan IGD RSUD dr. Abdoer Rahem Situbondo sebanyak 100 perawat dan semuanya dijadikan sampel penelitian. Uji statistic yang digunakan yaitu spearman rank (Rho) dengan ketentuan α < 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai ρ 0,000 < 0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan perawat dengan penerapan Atraumatic Care pada anak pra sekolah saat hospitalisasi dengan keeratan korelasi (r) sedang dan arah korelasi positif, dimana semakin baik pengetahuan perawat tentang atraumatic care maka akan semakin terpenuhi pula penerapan atraumatic care dan sebaliknya apabila pengetahuan perawat tentang atraumatic care kurang maka akan semakin tidak terpenuhi penerapan atraumatic care pada anak saat hospitalisasi. Dengan demikian hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan masukan untuk meningkatkan mutu pelayanan kesehatan dan mengetahui tentang pentingnya mengimplementasikan atraumatic care pada anak usia pra sekolah saat hospitalisasi.
In Indonesia, it is estimated that more than five million children are hospitalized, 50% of whom suffer from anxiety and stress related to hospitalization. Implementing atraumatic care can reduce anxiety as a result of undergoing hospitalization. One of the factors that influences the implementation of atraumatic care when undergoing hospitalization is the nurse's knowledge. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between nurses' knowledge and the application of Atraumatic Care to pre-school children during hospitalization. This research is a quantitative study with a correlational design and a cross-sectional approach. The population is all executive nurses who have cared for pediatric patients in the Wilis, Rinjani, Kerinci, Mutiara, Flamboyan, PICU and ER rooms at Dr. RSUD. Abdoer Rahem Situbondo as many as 100 nurses and all of them were used as research samples. The statistical test used is spearman rank (Rho) with the condition α < 0.05. The research results show a value of ρ 0.000 < 0.05. It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between nurses' knowledge and the application of Atraumatic Care to pre-school children during hospitalization with a moderate correlation (r) and a positive correlation direction, where the better the nurse's knowledge about atraumatic care, the more fulfilled the application of atraumatic care will be and vice versa. If nurses' knowledge about atraumatic care is lacking, the implementation of atraumatic care for children during hospitalization will be increasingly inadequate. Thus, the results of this research can be used as input for improving the quality of health services and understanding the importance of implementing atraumatic care for pre-school children during hospitalization.
