Science is a human activity to understand the universe and, therefore, the basis for technological development. In education, science provides the theoretical infrastructure, while technology acts as a tool to explain and enhance the processes developed for learning. The teaching of physics, which is often faced with abstract concepts-such as motion, energy and waves-can be enhanced through the use of technology. This article attempts to examine the nature of science, the role of science, and the role of technology in the physics education process. The research method was conducted through a literature study with a qualitative descriptive method. The results show that technology as an implementation of scientific knowledge can provide solutions to the challenges posed by physics education through visualization, simulation, and interactive media. However, challenges such as limited accessibility to technology and lack of teacher training are issues that need to be considered.
