PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN AUDITORY INTELLECTUALLY REPETITION (AIR) BERBANTUAN MEDIA MIND MAPPING TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP PESERTA DIDIK

Abstrak

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang terjadi di SMAN 4 Tasikmalaya yaitu rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) berbantuan media Mind Mapping dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain non equivalent control group design, serta teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes berbentuk pilihan ganda. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas X di SMAN 4 Tasikmalaya Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025 yang berjumlah 402. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu kelas X-10 yang berjumlah 36 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X-11 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan bantuan program IBM SPSS versi 22 yaitu uji pared samples t-test dan independent samples t-test dengan taraf signifikansi 5% atau 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen dengan nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest mengalami peningkatan yaitu dari 57,11 menjadi 90,33. (2) Terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada kelas kontrol dengan nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest mengalami peningkatan yaitu dari 53,00 menjadi 83,08. Terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep peserta didik antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang diketahui dari nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) berbantuan media Mind Mapping memberikan efektivitas yang lebih tinggi dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik.

This research was motivated by problems that occurred at SMAN 4 Tasikmalaya, namely the low ability of students to understand concepts in economics subjects. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the application of Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model assisted by Mind Mapping media in increasing students' understanding of concepts in economics subjects. The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design, as well as data collection techniques through multiple choice tests. The population in this study was class sampling using purposive sampling. The data analysis technique uses the help of the IBM SPSS version 22 program, namely the paired samples t-test and independent samples t-test with a significance level of 5% or 0.05. The results of the study showed that: (1) There was a difference in students' conceptual understanding in the experimental class with an average pretest and posttest score increasing from 57.11 to 90.33. (2) There was a difference in students' conceptual understanding in the control class with an average pretest and posttest score increasing from 53.00 to 83.08. There was a difference in students' conceptual understanding between the experimental class and the control class as seen from the Sig.(2-tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05. So it can be concluded that the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model assisted by Mind Mapping media provides higher effectiveness in improving students' conceptual understanding.
