PENERAPAN METODE FORWARD CHAINING DAN CERTAINTY FACTOR PADA SISTEM PAKAR DALAM MENDETEKSI KERUSAKAN HARDWARE KOMPUTER BERBASIS WEBSITE CODEIGNITER 3 PADA PT SKYWORTH INDUSTRY INDONESIA

Abstrak

Pada era digital saat ini, komputer memainkan peran penting dalam berbagai aktivitas manusia. Kinerja optimal komputer sangat bergantung pada kondisi hardware, dan kerusakan hardware dapat menyebabkan berbagai masalah yang mempengaruhi produktivitas. PT Skyworth Industry Indonesia menghadapi tantangan dalam deteksi kerusakan hardware, terutama karena terbatasnya jumlah tim IT, sehingga memperlambat proses perbaikan dan analisis. Sistem pakar berbasis web dapat menjadi alternatif yang efisien untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini. Sistem ini dapat memudahkan karyawan dalam mengidentifikasi masalah pada komputer secara cepat dengan menerapkan metode Forward Chaining dan certainty factor. Pengembangan sistem ini menggunakan framework CodeIgniter 3, yang dipilih karena kemudahan dan efisiensinya dalam pengembangan aplikasi web. Sehubungan dengan permasalahan yang dihadapi, penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menerapkan sistem pakar untuk deteksi kerusakan hardware komputer di PT Skyworth Industry Indonesia, sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi diagnosis.

In the current digital era, computers play a crucial role in various human activities. Optimal computer performance is highly dependent on hardware health, and hardware damage can cause various issues that affect productivity. PT Skyworth Industry Indonesia faces challenges in detecting hardware damage, especially due to the limited number of IT team members, which slows down the repair and analysis process. Web-based expert system can be an efficient alternative to overcome this problem. This system can make it easier for employees to quickly identify computer problems by implementing the Forward Chaining method and certainty factor. The development of this system uses the CodeIgniter 3 framework, chosen for its ease and efficiency in web application development. In connection with the problems faced, this research aims to implement an expert system for detecting computer hardware damage at PT Skyworth Industry Indonesia, so that it is hoped that it can increase the effectiveness and efficiency of diagnosis.
