EVALUASI PROSES BISNIS SISTEM BOARDING PASS BERBASIS PSC ON TICKET MENGGUNAKAN SIMULASI MONTE CARLO DI BANDARA PATTIMURA AMBON

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi sistem boarding pass di Bandara Pattimura Ambon menggunakan pendekatan simulasi Monte Carlo. Berdasarkan data selama tiga hari operasional, ditemukan bahwa sebagian besar selisih antara manifest dan data hasil scan disebabkan oleh kelalaian petugas, bukan kesalahan sistem. Simulasi Monte Carlo sebanyak 1000 iterasi menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan sistem sebesar 94,92%. Kajian ini juga mengacu pada prinsip manajemen proses bisnis yang menekankan pentingnya pengendalian mutu layanan dan perbaikan berkelanjutan. Rekomendasi yang diberikan meliputi integrasi sistem informasi secara real-time, pelatihan SDM, dan penguatan sistem validasi. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar untuk pengambilan keputusan strategis dalam meningkatkan efektivitas layanan penumpang di bandara.
This study aims to evaluate the boarding pass system at Pattimura Airport Ambon using the Monte Carlo simulation approach. Based on data during the three days of operation, it was found that most of the discrepancy between the manifest and the scanned data was due to officer negligence, not system error. Monte Carlo simulations of 1000 iterations showed a system success rate of 94.92%. This study also refers to the principles of business process management which emphasizes the importance of quality control of services and continuous improvement. The recommendations provided include real-time information system integration, human resource training, and strengthening the validation system. The results of this research are expected to be the basis for strategic decision-making in improving the effectiveness of passenger services at airports.
