Abstrak

PT Thea Theo Stationary masih menghadapi kendala dalam pengelolaan absensi karyawan, seperti keterlambatan rekap data, potensi kecurangan, dan kesulitan pemantauan karyawan di luar kantor. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem absensi karyawan berbasis web menggunakan teknologi Face Recognition dan deteksi lokasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka, dan analisis sistem. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan Laravel 8, PHP, MySQL, Geolocation API, dan teknologi Face Recognition. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu melakukan verifikasi identitas dan lokasi secara real-time, meningkatkan akurasi data kehadiran, mengurangi potensi kecurangan, serta memudahkan proses monitoring dan pelaporan absensi. Berdasarkan pengujian yang dilakukan, seluruh fitur sistem dapat berjalan sesuai kebutuhan perusahaan

PT Thea Theo Stationary continues to face challenges in managing employee attendance, such as delays in data recapitulation, potential fraud, and difficulty monitoring employees outside the office. This study aims to design and implement a web-based employee attendance system using Face Recognition and location detection technology. The research methods used included observation, interviews, literature review, and system analysis. The system was developed using Laravel 8, PHP, MySQL, the Geolocation API, and Face Recognition technology. The results show that the system is capable of real-time identity and location verification, improving attendance data accuracy, reducing the potential for fraud, and simplifying the process of monitoring and reporting attendance. Based on testing, all system features function according to the company's needs
