IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN AL-QUR’AN DALAM PEMBENTUKAN AKHLAK SISWA KELAS XI MADRASAH ALIYAH AL MANSHUR AL ISLAMY

This research aims to analyze and describe the implementation of Al-Qur’an learning in shaping the akhlak (character) of Class XI students at Madrasah Aliyah Al Manshur Al Islamy. This study is motivated by the fact that despite intensive religious education, the moral challenges faced by adolescents still require a comprehensive educational strategy derived directly from the sources of Islamic law. The learning of Al-Qur’an is viewed not merely as a recitation and memorization activity, but as a medium for internalizing moral values (akhlakul karimah). This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach and a case study design. Data collection techniques involve participatory observation, in-depth interviews with teachers, principals, and students, and documentation studies of curriculum and learning materials. The results show that the implementation is carried out through three main stages: 1) Reading and Interpretation (focusing on verses related to akhlak), 2) Discussion and Modeling (connecting verses to daily behavior), and 3) Evaluation of Behavior (assessment of student moral habits in the school and dormitory environment). Supporting factors include the integrated dormitory environment and teacher modeling, while inhibiting factors include the influence of modern social media and the lack of parental control. The conclusion is that Al-Qur’an learning has a significant role in shaping the akhlak of students when combined with consistent habituation and modeling.
