KONSEP TEKNOLOGI DAN KONSEP DIGITAL DALAM PERSPEKTIF KOMUNIKASI MODERN

Abstrak

Perkembangan konsep teknologi dan digital dalam komunikasi modern telah membawa perubahan mendasar dalam cara manusia berinteraksi, mengakses, dan menyebarkan informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep teknologi dan digital dalam perspektif komunikasi modern, serta memahami peran digitalisasi dan integrasi teknologi dalam membentuk sistem komunikasi kontemporer. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan menelaah berbagai sumber ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan evolusi teknologi komunikasi, digitalisasi, dan transformasi sistem komunikasi berbasis jaringan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan teknologi komunikasi mengalami evolusi signifikan dari sistem analog menuju sistem digital yang terintegrasi melalui jaringan nirkabel generasi 1G hingga 5G, serta arah pengembangan menuju 6G. Digitalisasi berperan sebagai fondasi utama yang memungkinkan komunikasi berlangsung lebih cepat, efisien, dan berbasis data. Selain itu, integrasi teknologi seperti kecerdasan buatan, cloud computing, dan Internet of Things memperkuat sistem komunikasi modern menjadi lebih adaptif, otomatis, dan cerdas dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna. Kesimpulannya, konsep teknologi dan digital memiliki peran sentral dalam membentuk komunikasi modern yang bersifat global, interaktif, dan real-time. Namun demikian, perkembangan ini juga menghadirkan tantangan seperti keamanan data, kesenjangan digital, dan penyebaran informasi yang tidak terkontrol.

The development of technological concepts and digital systems has significantly transformed modern communication. This study aims to analyze the concepts of technology and digitalization within the perspective of modern communication, particularly focusing on how digital transformation and technological integration shape faster, more interactive, and borderless communication systems. The method used in this research is a literature review by examining various scientific sources related to communication technology development, digitalization, and the transformation of modern communication systems. The findings show that communication technology has evolved from analog systems to highly integrated digital systems through the development of wireless network generations from 1G to 5G, with a projected transition toward 6G. Digitalization serves as the main foundation enabling real-time, efficient, and data-based communication. Furthermore, the integration of technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things strengthens modern communication systems, making them more adaptive, intelligent, and automated in responding to user needs. In conclusion, technological and digital concepts play a central role in shaping modern communication systems that are global, interactive, and real-time.
