IMPLEMENTASI MEDIA POP UP BOOK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPAS TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN SISWA KELAS V DI SD NEGERI 3 PEGUYANGAN DENPASAR UTARA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) implementasi media Pop Up Book dalam pembelajaran IPAS, (2) pemahaman siswa setelah penggunaan media Pop Up Book, dan (3) kendala serta upaya dalam penggunaan media Pop Up Book pada siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 3 Peguyangan. Penelitian iini imenggunakan ipendekatan ikualitatif ideskriptif. iSubjek ipenelitian iyaitu iguru idan isiswa ikelas iV. iTeknik ipengumpulan idata idilakukan imelalui iobservasi, iwawancara, idan idokumentasi. iAnalisis idata imenggunakan imodel iMiles, iHuberman, idan iSaldaña idengan itahap ipengumpulan idata, ireduksi idata, ipenyajian idata, idan ipenarikan ikesimpulan. iKeabsahan idata idilakukan imelalui itriangulasi isumber idan iteknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi media Pop Up Book dilaksanakan melalui tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Penggunaan media Pop Up Book membantu siswa lebih aktif, fokus, dan mudah memahami materi IPAS. Pemahaman siswa terlihat dari kemampuan menjelaskan kembali materi dan menjawab pertanyaan pembelajaran. Kendala yang ditemukan yaitu keterbatasan waktu, media yang mudah rusak, dan beberapa siswa kurang fokus. Upaya yang dilakukan guru yaitu memberikan arahan penggunaan media, meningkatkan pengawasan, dan menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih menarik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Pop Up Book dapat membantu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam pembelajaran IPAS di kelas V.
This study aimed to determine: (1) the implementation of Pop Up Book media in science and social studies (IPAS) learning, (2) students’ understanding after using Pop Up Book media, and (3) the obstacles and efforts in using Pop Up Book media for fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 3 Peguyangan. The results showed that the implementation of Pop Up Book media was carried out through planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The use of Pop Up Book media helped students become more active, focused, and easier to understand the IPAS material. Students’ understanding was shown through their ability to explain the material again and answer learning questions. The obstacles found were limited learning time, media that was easily damaged, and some students who were less focused. The teacher’s efforts included providing guidance on media use, increasing supervision, and creating more interesting learning activities. Based on the results, it can be concluded that Pop Up Book media can help improve students’ understanding in IPAS learning in fifth grade.
