The development of TikTok has transformed social media into a space for the representation and interpretation of tourism experiences. Repeated exposure to Bukit Premium Pasuruan content through the For You Page (FYP), along with various forms of user engagement, can shape perceptions of the destination's popularity and relate to the phenomenon of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO). This study aims to analyze how Generation Z interprets the representation of Bukit Premium Pasuruan in viral TikTok content and the process of the social construction of FOMO. This study employed a qualitative approach using Peter L. Berger and Thomas Luckmann's Social Construction of Reality theory, consisting of externalization, objectivation, and internalization. The informants consisted of 10 Generation Z visitors as main informants and one supporting informant. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The findings show that Generation Z interprets Bukit Premium as an attractive, beautiful, popular nature tourism destination that is receiving attention on social media. These interpretations are shaped by visual representations, visitor experiences, repeated exposure to content, and user interactions. The social construction of FOMO occurs through the externalization of tourism experiences, the objectivation of destination popularity, and the internalization of this reality by audiences. For some informants, this process generates feelings of being left behind and a desire to obtain similar experiences, which is associated with FOMO. FOMO may also encourage a tendency to follow tourism experiences that are currently popular, although it is not the only factor influencing visiting decisions. Thus, TikTok does not automatically cause FOMO, but provides a social reality that is interpreted by audiences and, for some informants, is associated with trend-based tourism behavior
