Kata Kunci:
Banjir, Drainase, SampahAbstrak
Floods are disasters that often occur in urban areas due to a combination of natural factors and human activities. This study aims to analyze the causes of floods, the impacts caused, and countermeasures in the Paradise area, a student settlement that is often submerged during heavy rains. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach with interview techniques, field observation, and documentation. The results of the study showed that floods were mainly triggered by shallow drainage channels and garbage clogs, high rainfall, and a lower position of boarding houses than the main road. The impacts felt include material losses, disruption of daily activities, and health problems such as itching due to contact with dirty water. Countermeasures such as improving drainage systems, increasing awareness of waste management, and community participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness are needed to reduce flood risk.
