Abstrak

The main problem in this study is the lack of evaluation media in learning. This research focuses on developing an evaluation medium in the form of an educational game (Froggy Jumps) created using the Educaplay website. The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of the Froggy Jumps assessment game for seventh-grade junior high school students on the topic of procedure texts. The ADDIE model consists of five development stages; however, the researcher limited the study to three stages—Analysis, Design, and Development—due to constraints in time and material. The results of the research show that: 1)Teachers need a more interactive assessment medium to increase students’ motivation to complete tasks and improve their focus. 2)The development of the assessment medium was carried out through preliminary studies and media development, resulting in the Froggy Jumps game. 3) The feasibility test of the Froggy Jumps assessment media was evaluated based on the following:a) The material expert’s assessment of relevance, scoring 94.44%, categorized as “highly feasible.” b) The media expert’s assessment across several aspects, scoring 77.78%, also categorized as “highly feasible.” c) The practitioner (material expert) assessment, obtaining average scores of 91.67% and 88.89%, categorized as “highly feasible.” d) The practitioner (media expert) assessment, scoring an average of 75%, categorized as “feasible.”

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah kurangnya media evaluasi dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan media evaluasi berupa Game edukasi (froggy jumps) yang dikembangkan melalui website educaplay. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Mengetahui kelayakan media penilaian Game froggy jumps pada materi teks prosedur untuk peserta didik SMP kelas 7. Model ADDIE terdiri dari lima tahapan pengembangan namun peneliti membatasi penelitian hanya menggunakan tiga tahap yaitu Analysis (analisis), Design (desain/perancangan), dan Development (pengembangan) dikarenakan keterbatasan baik materi dan waktu. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa 1) guru membutuhkan media penilaian yang lebih interaktif untuk menambah motivasi siswa untuk mengerjakan soal dan menambah fokus siswa, 2) bentuk pengembangan media penilaian berupa “Game froggy jumps” melalui studi pendahuluan dan pengembangan 3) Hasil uji kelayakan media penilaian “Game froggi Jumps” diuji berdasarkan: a) penilaian ahli materi dinilai berdasarkan relevansi media dengan mendapatkan skor presentase 94,44% atau termasuk “sangat layak” untuk digunakan, b) penilaian ahli media dinilai dari beberapa aspek dengan mendapatkan skor presentase dan 77.78% atau termasuk “sangat layak” digunakan, c) pada penelaian praktisi ahli materi memperoleh skor rata-rata 91,67%  dan 88.89% atau masuk kategori “sangat layak” digunakan, d) pada penilaian praktisi ahli media memperoleh rata-rata 75%  termasuk “ layak” digunakan.
