Abstrak

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kreativitas peserta didik kelas V pada mata pelajaran Seni Rupa di SDN 189 Palembongan. Proses pembelajaran yang masih didominasi metode ceramah menyebabkan peserta didik kurang aktif, kurang termotivasi, serta belum mampu mengekspresikan ide dan gagasan secara optimal dalam karya seni. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan model pembelajaran yang mampu mendorong keterlibatan aktif dan pengembangan kreativitas peserta didik. Salah satu model yang relevan adalah Project Based Learning (PjBL) yang menekankan pada pembelajaran berbasis proyek melalui pengalaman langsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kreativitas peserta didik melalui penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) pada mata pelajaran Seni Rupa kelas V SDN 189 Palembongan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 11 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan penilaian proyek ecoprint tote bag sebagai produk kreatif peserta didik. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dapat meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik. Pada siklus I, persentase ketuntasan kreativitas mencapai 63% dengan kategori cukup, sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 100% dengan kategori sangat baik. Peningkatan tersebut terlihat dari aspek kelancaran ide, keluwesan, orisinalitas, elaborasi, serta kualitas produk yang dihasilkan peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) efektif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Seni Rupa kelas V SDN 189 Palembongan.

This study was motivated by the low creativity of fifth-grade students in Fine Arts at SDN 189 Palembongan. The learning process was still dominated by lecture methods, causing students to be less active, less motivated, and unable to express their ideas and creativity optimally in art works. Therefore, a learning model that encourages active participation and creativity is needed. One relevant model is Project Based Learning (PjBL), which emphasizes learning through direct project experience. This study aimed to determine the improvement of students’ creativity through the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in Fine Arts for fifth-grade students at SDN 189 Palembongan. This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 11 students. Data were collected through observation and assessment of ecoprint tote bag projects as students’ creative products and were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results showed that the PjBL model could improve students’ creativity. In Cycle I, the creativity mastery reached 63% with a fair category, while in Cycle II it increased to 100% with a very good category. The improvement was seen in idea fluency, flexibility, originality, elaboration, and product quality. Therefore, the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model is effective in improving students’ creativity in Fine Arts at SDN 189 Palembongan.
