PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PUPUK ORGANIK URIN KAMBING TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN BIBIT TEMBAKAU (NICOTIANA TABACUM L.) KASTURI VOOR-OOGST

Abstrak

Produksi tembakau dapat dipengaruhi oleh pemilihan bibit yang kurang berkualitas. Pemilihan bibit tembakau sangat berperan penting untuk mempertahankan kualitas dan mutu dalam budidaya tanaman tembakaumaka dapat dirumuskan masalah yaitu apakah pemberian pupuk organik urin kambing berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan bibit tembakau kasturi Voor-oogst (Nicotiana tabacum L). Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik urin kambing terhadap pertumbuhan bibit tembakau kasturi Voor-oogst (Nicotiana tabacum L). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2024 sampai Januari 2025 di lahan penelitian Politeknik Negeri Jember. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah RAK ((Rancangan Acak Kelompok) Non-Faktorial menggunakan 1 faktor, Perlakuan yaitu konsentrasi pupuk organik urin kambing dengan konsentrasi, (P0) tanpa perlakuan, konsentrasi (P1) Konsentrasi 100 ml urin kambing + 900 ml air, (P2) Konsentrasi 200 ml urin kambing + 800 ml air, (P3) Konsentrasi 300 ml urin kambing + 700 ml air. Parameter pengamatan pada penelitian meliputi tinggi bibit, jumlah daun helai, diameter batang, berat basah, berat kering. Hasil penelitian perlakuan disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik urin kambing berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tinggi bibit, diameter batang, berat basah dan berat kering pada umur 35 HST serta tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah daun.

Tobacco production can be affected by the selection of low-quality seeds. The selection of tobacco seeds plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality and standard of tobacco cultivation. Therefore, the problem can be formulated as to whether the application of organic goat urine fertilizer has an effect on the growth of Voor-oogst (Nicotiana tabacum L) kasturi tobacco seeds.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving goat urine organic fertilizer on the growth of Voor-oogst kasturi tobacco seedlings (Nicotiana tabacum L). The study was conducted from October 2024 to January 2025 at the Jember State Polytechnic research field. The experimental design used in this study was RAK (Randomized Block Design) Non-Factorial using 1 factor, Treatment namely the concentration of goat urine organic fertilizer with concentration, (P0) without treatment, concentration (P1) Concentration of 100 ml goat urine + 900 ml water, (P2) Concentration of 200 ml goat urine + 800 ml water, (P3) Concentration of 300 ml goat urine + 700 ml water. Observation parameters in the study included plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, wet weight, dry weight. The results of the treatment study concluded that the effect of giving goat urine organic fertilizer had a significant effect on the growth of plant height, stem diameter, wet weight and dry weight at the age of 35 HST and had no significant effect on the number of leaves.
