PERAN BAHASA INDONESIA DALAM PENYIARAN OLAHRAGA NASIONAL

Abstrak

This study discusses the important role of Indonesian in sports broadcasting at the national level. As an official language, Indonesian is the main tool in conveying information, analysis, and commentary related to various sports to the wider community. The effective and communicative use of Indonesian in sports broadcasting serves to facilitate better understanding, increase audience participation, and build a strong national identity through sports. Through qualitative analysis of various national sports broadcast content and previous research, this article finds that the use of appropriate and interesting Indonesian can increase audience engagement, strengthen sports culture in Indonesia, and support the development of language as a tool to unite the nation. The results of the study show that Indonesian plays an important role in building national identity and spirit through sports broadcasting. Indonesian is used to tell stories of athletes' success, motivate the community, and raise awareness of the importance of sports in everyday life
