PENGARUH DISIPLIN KERJA DAN MOTIVASI TERHADAP KINERJA GURU DI SMPK WATUKRUS BOLA DESA BOLA KECAMATAN BOLA KABUPATEN SIKKA

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh disiplin kerja dan motivasi terhadap kinerja guru di SMPK Watukrus Bola, Desa Bola, Kecamatan Bola, Kabupaten Sikka. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya peningkatan kualitas pendidikan yang salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh kinerja guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi berganda. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh guru di SMPK Watukrus Bola, sedangkan sampel ditentukan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket dengan skala Likert yang mengukur variabel disiplin kerja, motivasi, dan kinerja guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, demikian pula motivasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Secara simultan, disiplin kerja dan motivasi memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di SMPK Watukrus Bola. Dengan demikian, peningkatan disiplin kerja serta motivasi guru perlu menjadi perhatian pihak sekolah untuk mendorong tercapainya kualitas pendidikan yang lebih baik.

This study aims to determine the influence of work discipline and motivation on teacher performance at SMPK Watukrus Bola, Bola Village, Bola District, Sikka Regency. The background of this research is based on the importance of improving the quality of education, which is partly influenced by teacher performance. The research method used is a quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis techniques. The population of the study consists of all teachers at SMPK Watukrus Bola, while the sample was determined using a saturated sampling technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire using a Likert scale to measure the variables of work discipline, motivation, and teacher performance. The results of the study indicate that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, and motivation also has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. Simultaneously, work discipline and motivation contribute significantly to improving teacher performance at SMPK Watukrus Bola. Therefore, enhancing teachers’ work discipline and motivation should be a priority for the school in order to support the achievement of better education quality.
