Abstrak

Student interest in learning Pancasila Education remains a challenge in various educational units. This study aims to (1) analyze the factors causing low student interest in understanding Pancasila values, and (2) develop strategies to improve it. The study was conducted using a quantitative descriptive approach by distributing questionnaires to 14 class X TKJ students of SMK Yayasan Perguruan Indonesia Membangun. The results of the study indicate that low interest is influenced by internal factors (motivation, perception, relevance of material) and external factors (monotonous learning methods, lack of digital media, and a learning environment that does not reflect Pancasila values). These results are in line with the findings of Putri & Suprianto (2023) who showed that low interest is related to learning methods that are not varied and lack of student involvement in the learning process. Various efforts can be made to increase student interest, including innovation in learning methods, the implementation of group discussions as effective in the research of Dewin et al. (2025), and strengthening school culture based on Pancasila values.
