HUBUNGAN FLAT FOOT PADA USIA DEWASA DENGAN KESEIMBANGAN STATIS PADA KAKI DOMINAN DI KLINIK THERAPOP TAHUN 2026

Flat foot merupakan salah satu kelainan biomekanik pada ekstremitas bawah yang ditandai dengan penurunan lengkung longitudinal medial kaki. Kondisi ini dapat memengaruhi fungsi penopang tubuh, distribusi tekanan plantar, serta mekanisme kontrol postural sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan gangguan keseimbangan statis maupun dinamis. Pada usia dewasa, aktivitas fungsional yang tinggi menuntut kemampuan keseimbangan optimal, sehingga gangguan struktur lengkung kaki dapat berdampak pada stabilitas tubuh dan risiko cedera. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan derajat flat foot terhadap keseimbangan statis dan dinamis pada usia dewasa di Klinik Therapop. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif observasional dengan desain korelasional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 52 responden usia dewasa yang diperoleh melalui teknik total sampling sesuai kriteria inklusi. Flat foot diukur menggunakan Navicular Drop Test dan keseimbangan statis diukur menggunakan Single Leg Stance Test. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Saperman Rank. Hasil uji korelasi Spearman menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara derajat flat foot dan keseimbangan statis dengan nilai r = -0,462 dan p = 0,000 (p<0,05). Hal ini menunjukan bahwa semakin tinggi derajat flat foot maka keseimbangan statis cenderung menurun. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara derajat flat foot dengan keseimbangan statis usia dewasa pada kaki dominan di Klinik Therapop. Semakin tinggi derajat flat foot, maka perubahan kemampuan keseimbangan statis semakin nyata.
Flat foot is a biomechanical disorder of the lower extremity characterized by a decreased or collapsed medial longitudinal arch. This condition may alter plantar pressure distribution and impair postural control mechanisms, which can lead to disturbances in both static and dynamic balance. In adulthood, optimal balance is essential to support daily functional activities and reduce the risk of injury. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the relationship between the degree of flat foot and static as well as dynamic balance among adults at Therapop Clinic. This study was a quantitative observational study with a correlational design. The sample consisted of 52 adult respondents, obtained through total sampling technique according to the inclusion criteria. Flat feet were measured using the Navicular Drop Test and static balance was measured using the Single Leg Stance Test. Data analysis was performed using the Saperman Rank test. Spearman's correlation test results showed a significant relationship between the degree of flatfoot and static balance, with an r value of -0.462 and p value of 0.000 (p<0.05). This indicates that the higher the degree of flatfoot, the lower the static balance. There was a significant correlation between the degree of flatfoot and static balance in adults with the dominant foot at the Therapop Clinic. The higher the degree of flatfoot, the more pronounced the change in static balance ability.
