PROJECT PENGOLAHAN LIMBAH MEJA ESTETIK: MEMBINGKAI KEINDAHAN BATIK DALAM BALUTAN RESIN

Abstrak

Perkembangan desain interior dan industri kreatif mendorong lahirnya inovasi produk yang tidak hanya fungsional, tetapi juga memiliki nilai estetika dan budaya. Salah satu bentuk inovasi tersebut adalah pembuatan meja estetik yang memadukan kain batik sebagai warisan budaya Indonesia dengan material resin modern. Meja estetik berbahan batik resin menjadi simbol harmonisasi antara tradisi dan modernitas, di mana keindahan motif batik dibingkai secara elegan melalui lapisan resin yang kuat, transparan, dan tahan lama. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep, proses pembuatan, serta nilai estetika, budaya, dan ekonomi dari meja estetik batik resin. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dan deskriptif kualitatif dengan menelaah berbagai sumber terkait desain produk, seni batik, dan pemanfaatan resin dalam industri kreatif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa meja estetik batik resin tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai furnitur, tetapi juga sebagai media pelestarian budaya dan peningkatan nilai tambah produk lokal. Dengan demikian, inovasi ini berpotensi mendukung pengembangan ekonomi kreatif berbasis kearifan lokal.

The development of interior design and creative industries encourages the birth of product innovations that are not only functional, but also have aesthetic and cultural value. One form of innovation is the manufacture of aesthetic tables that combine batik cloth as a cultural heritage of Indonesia with modern resin materials. The aesthetic table made of resin batik is a symbol of harmonization between tradition and modernity, where the beauty of batik motifs is elegantly framed through a strong, transparent and durable resin coating. This article aims to examine the concept, manufacturing process, as well as the aesthetic, cultural, and economic value of the resin batik aesthetic table. The method used is the study of literature and qualitative descriptive by examining various sources related to product design, batik art, and the use of resin in the creative industries. The results showed that the resin batik aesthetic table not only serves as furniture, but also as a medium for cultural preservation and increasing the added value of local products. Thus, this innovation has the potential to support the development of a creative economy based on local wisdom.
