EFEKTIVITAS SUPERVISI SEKOLAH TERHADAP KINERJA GURU DAN KUALITAS PEMBELAJARAN DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan supervisi sekolah oleh kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru di SDN Sungai Miai 4 Banjarmasin. Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini berfokus pada perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, tindak lanjut, dan dampak supervisi terhadap kinerja guru. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan subjek kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi dilakukan secara terencana dan berkelanjutan setiap semester dengan pendekatan partisipatif yang menekankan kerja sama dan refleksi. Guru merasa terbantu melalui umpan balik yang membangun sehingga termotivasi memperbaiki pembelajaran. Supervisi berdampak positif terhadap kreativitas guru dan suasana belajar yang interaktif. Kendala yang muncul meliputi keterbatasan waktu, sarana, dan kemampuan teknologi guru. Secara keseluruhan, supervisi di SDN Sungai Miai 4 berjalan efektif dan berkontribusi meningkatkan profesionalisme guru.
This study aims to describe the implementation of school supervision by the principal in improving teacher professionalism at SDN Sungai Miai 4 Banjarmasin. This descriptive qualitative study focuses on the planning, implementation, evaluation, follow-up, and impact of supervision on teacher performance. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation with the principal, teachers, and students as subjects. The results of the study indicate that supervision is carried out in a planned and continuous manner every semester with a participatory approach that emphasizes cooperation and reflection. Teachers felt helped by constructive feedback, which motivated them to improve their teaching. Supervision had a positive impact on teacher creativity and interactive learning atmosphere. The obstacles that arose included time constraints, facilities, and teachers' technological capabilities. Overall, supervision at SDN Sungai Miai 4 was effective and contributed to improving teacher professionalism.
