Atikel ini merupakan studi literatur yang mensintesis bukti empiris dan kajian kepustakaan mengenai peran Teknologi Informasi dan media komunikasi digital dalam meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan. Hasil sintesis menunjukkan bahwa adopsi TI, meliputi otomatisasi proses, integrasi data, dan sistem pendukung keputusan serta pemanfaatan kanal komunikasi digital seperti platform kolaborasi, aplikasi pesan, dan marketplace, secara konsisten berkontribusi pada peningkatan efisiensi operasional, percepatan pengambilan keputusan, koordinasi antar‑tim, dan penguatan hubungan pelanggan. Keberhasilan implementasi bergantung pada kualitas manajemen TI, kapabilitas sumber daya manusia melalui pelatihan keterampilan digital dan komunikasi, serta strategi organisasi yang kontekstual dan bertahap. Faktor psikologis dan interpersonal seperti persepsi, emosi, gaya kepemimpinan, dan kemampuan mendengarkan aktif turut mempengaruhi efektivitas komunikasi digital. Tantangan utama meliputi kesenjangan keterampilan, biaya investasi, risiko keamanan data, dan resistensi budaya organisasi. Rekomendasi praktis mencakup pendekatan bertahap, fokus pada pelatihan SDM, penguatan kebijakan TI, dan pengukuran dampak melalui indikator kinerja yang jelas untuk memaksimalkan manfaat digital secara berkelanjutan.
This research is a literature review that synthesizes empirical evidence and literature reviews on the role of Information Technology and digital communication media in improving company performance. The results of the synthesis indicate that the implementation of IT, including process automation, data integration, and decision support systems, as well as the utilization of digital communication channels such as collaboration platforms, messaging applications, and marketplaces, consistently contributes to increased operational efficiency, accelerated decision-making, inter-team coordination, and strengthened customer relationships. Successful implementation depends on the quality of IT management, human resource capabilities through digital and communication skills training, and a contextual and phased organizational strategy. Psychological and interpersonal factors such as perception, emotion, leadership style, and active listening skills also influence the effectiveness of digital communication. Key challenges include skills, investment costs, data security risks, and organizational cultural resistance. Practical recommendations include a phased approach, a focus on human resource training, strengthening IT policies, and measuring impact through clear performance indicators to maximize the benefits of digital sustainably.
