Abstrak

This research was carried out at the Practice Garden of the Faculty of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Technology, Nusa Nipa University, Uneng City Village, Alok District, Sikka Regency in September – December 2024. This research aims to analyze the income and feasibility of farming the Dewata F1 variety of cayenne pepper in the Practice Garden of the Faculty of Technology Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, Nusa Nipa University. The method used to analyze the data in this research is a quantitative analysis method, namely the data obtained from the research in the form of numbers arranged in tables which will then be discussed and analyzed using predetermined equation models. The results of the research show that the Dewata F1 Variety Cayenne Pepper Farming in the Practice Garden of the Faculty of Food Technology, Agriculture and Fisheries, Nusa Nipa University is worth pursuing because the total revenue is IDR 11,750,000, and the total costs are IDR 5,037,500. So that you get a total income of Rp. 6,712,500. Based on the calculation of business feasibility (R/C), namely the comparison of income with total production costs that is greater than zero, namely a comparison figure of 2.33 or 2.33 > 1, it can be concluded that farming can be said to be profitable and worth running.
