PERANCANGAN UI SISTEM INFORMASI PERPUSTAKAAN DENGAN METODE UCD BERBASIS WEBSITE DI MA MAZROATUL ULUM LAMONGAN

Abstrak

The development of information technology encourages educational institutions to improve library services through web-based systems that are user-friendly and responsive. This study aims to design a user interface (UI) for a web-based library information system at MA Mazroatul Ulum Lamongan using the User Centered Design (UCD) approach. UCD ensures that the interface design meets user needs through stages of requirement identification, design, evaluation, and testing. System testing was conducted using Maze Testing to measure interaction efficiency, the System Usability Scale (SUS) to assess satisfaction levels, and screen responsiveness testing on laptop devices. The results show a Maze Testing score of 82%, a SUS score of 83.25%, and screen responsiveness tests confirming valid display across various laptop resolutions. These findings indicate that the system meets good usability criteria, provides an optimal user experience, and is feasible for implementation in a school environment.
