TEKNOLOGI BLOCKHAIN DALAM DUNIA PENDIDIKAN POTENSI, IMPLEMENTASI DAN TANTANGAN

Abstrak

Teknologi blockchain telah menarik perhatian berbagai sektor, termasuk pendidikan. Dengan kemampuannya dalam menyimpan data secara terdesentralisasi dan aman, blockchain diyakini mampu merevolusi cara pengelolaan informasi pendidikan, sertifikasi, hingga proses evaluasi. Artikel ini membahas potensi, implementasi, dan tantangan teknologi blockchain dalam sektor pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur untuk mengkaji berbagai sumber relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun blockchain menawarkan berbagai keunggulan, implementasinya masih menghadapi berbagai hambatan, seperti kesiapan infrastruktur, aspek hukum, dan keterbatasan pemahaman pengguna. Revolusi digital telah mengubah lanskap berbagai sektor, termasuk pendidikan. Di tengah disrupsi ini, teknologi blockchain muncul sebagai inovasi disruptif dengan potensi transformatif yang signifikan. Jurnal ini mengeksplorasi potensi multifaset blockchain dalam dunia pendidikan, mencakup aspek-aspek seperti verifikasi kredensial, manajemen data siswa yang aman, peningkatan transparansi, dan desentralisasi proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, kami akan mengkaji berbagai model implementasi yang telah mulai diujicobakan atau diusulkan, menyoroti studi kasus awal dan proyek percontohan. Namun, implementasi teknologi ini tidak luput dari tantangan substansial, termasuk masalah skalabilitas, interoperabilitas, adopsi pengguna, biaya infrastruktur, serta isu regulasi dan privasi data. Melalui analisis komprehensif ini, jurnal ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang peran blockchain dalam membentuk masa depan pendidikan yang lebih aman, efisien, dan inklusif.

Blockchain technology has attracted the attention of various sectors, including education. With its ability to store data in a decentralized and secure manner, blockchain is believed to be able to revolutionize the way education information, certification, and evaluation processes are managed. This article discusses the potential, implementation, and challenges of blockchain technology in the education sector. This study uses a literature study method to review various relevant sources. The results of the study show that although blockchain offers various advantages, its implementation still faces various obstacles, such as infrastructure readiness, legal aspects, and limited user understanding. The digital revolution has changed the landscape of various sectors, including education. Amid this disruption, blockchain technology has emerged as a disruptive innovation with significant transformative potential. This paper explores the multifaceted potential of blockchain in education, covering aspects such as credential verification, secure student data management, increased transparency, and decentralization of the learning process. In addition, we will review various implementation models that have begun to be tested or proposed, highlighting early case studies and pilot projects. However, the implementation of this technology is not without substantial challenges, including issues of scalability, interoperability, user adoption, infrastructure costs, and regulatory and data privacy issues. Through this comprehensive analysis, this journal aims to provide a deeper understanding of the role of blockchain in shaping a safer, more efficient, and more inclusive future of education.
