PENERAPAN FOOT AND HAND MASSAGE TERHADAP TINGKAT NYERI IBU POST SECTIO CAESAREA DI BANGSAL CEMPAKA RSUD DR. SOEHADI PRIJONEGORO SRAGEN

Abstrak

Latar belakang : sectio caesarea adalah metode melahirkan bayi dengan melakukan sayatan pada dinding rahim melalui dinding perut. Persalinan dengan cara sc memberikan efek tertentu untuk ibu dan bayi. Setelah melahirkan dengan sc, ibu akan merasakan nyeri yang biasanya mulai terasa 4-6 jam setelah proses persalinan selesai. Foot and hand massage menjadi salah satu teknik pijatan yang dikembangkan dan di terapkan di rumah sakit dalam manajemen nyeri non farmakologi. Tujuan : Mengetahui hasil penerapan teknik foot and hand massage dalam menurunkan nyeri setelah operasi sectio caesar pada ibu nifas. Metode : Penerapan ini menggunakan metode deskriptif studi kasus, dengan jumlah sampel penerapan 2 responden. Penerapan ini dilakukan selama 2 hari dengan setiap harinya dilakukan 1 kali selama 20 menit. Hasil : Hasil penerapan menunjukkan bahwa kedua responden sebelum dan sesudah diberikan foot and hand massage mengalami penurunan dari kategori sedang menjadi ringan. Kesimpulan : Terdapat pengaruh foot and hand massage dalam menurunkan nyeri setelah operasi Sectio Caesarea pada ibu nifas di Ruang Cempaka RSUD dr. Soehadi Prijonegoro Sragen.

Background : Sectio Caesarea is a method of giving birth to a baby by making an incision in the uterine wall through the abdominal wall. Childbirth by caesarean section has certain effects for the mother and baby. After giving birth by caesarean section, the mother will feel pain that usually begins to be felt 4-6 hours after the labor process is complete. Foot and hand massage is one of the massage techniques developed and applied in hospitals in non-pharmacological pain management. Objective : To determine the results of the application of foot and hand massage techniques in reducing pain after Sectio Caesarea surgery in postpartum mothers. Method : This application uses a descriptive case study method, with a sample size of 2 respondents. This application was carried out for 2 days with each day being done once for 20 minutes. Results : The results of the application showed that both respondents before and after being given foot and hand massage experienced a decrease from the moderate to mild category. Conclusion : There is an effect of foot and hand massage in reducing pain after Sectio Caesarea surgery in postpartum mothers in the Cempaka Room of Dr. Soehadi Prijonegoro Hospital, Sragen
