Abstrak

This study examines the life, contributions, and enduring legacy of one of the prominent Companions of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Using a qualitative library research method, the study analyzes classical Islamic sources, biographical literature, and relevant scholarly works to explore his role in supporting the early Muslim community. The findings reveal that his commitment was demonstrated through unwavering faith, generosity, military participation, and dedication to the welfare of society. His willingness to sacrifice personal wealth and interests for religious and communal objectives illustrates the ethical principles promoted in Islam. Furthermore, his contributions highlight the significance of loyalty, courage, and social responsibility in the development of the early Islamic civilization. The study also discusses the contemporary relevance of these values, particularly in fostering character development, leadership, and community service among Muslims today. The research concludes that his life serves as an important example of how religious conviction can inspire meaningful contributions to society and strengthen collective well-being.
