PERAN PARTAI POLITIK DALAM PEMILIHAN UMUM: ANALISIS TERHADAP PROSES DEMOKRASI

Abstrak

Artikel ini membahas mengenai Peran Partai Politik Dalam Pemilihan Umum: Analisis
Terhadap Proses Demokrasi yang berfokus pada Peranan Partai Politik serta melibatkan Pemilihan Umum
dan demokrasi. Metodologi pendekatan yuridis normatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini
menggunakan studi kepustakaan sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Peneliti menggunakan pengumpulan
data sekunder, yaitu informasi yang dikumpulkan dari kepustakaan dengan cara membaca buku-buku,
jurnal, dan sumber-sumber kepustakaan lain yang berhubungan dengan penulisan serta melakukan
penelusuran dan penelaahan terhadap informasi-informasi yang relevan. Peran partai politik dalam
pemilihan umum memastikan keterwakilan dan pluralisme dalam proses demokrasi. Partai politik
dianggap oleh sistem politik Indonesia sebagai sarana utama untuk mengatur demokrasi di negara ini;
dengan kata lain, demokrasi tidak dapat hidup di Indonesia tanpa partai politik. Oleh karena itu, undang
undang yang berkaitan dengan partai politik sangat penting untuk menjamin perkembangan organisasi
politik yang bermoral dan dijalankan secara profesional. Pemilihan umum merupakan salah satu fondasi
utama dalam sistem demokrasi di mana warga negara memiliki hak untuk memilih para pemimpinnya.
Artikel ini diharapkan dapat menginspirasi individu, kelompok, dan masyarakat untuk mengambil
langkah-langkah positif untuk memperkuat peran partai politik dalam proses demokrasi, baik melalui
partisipasi politik aktif maupun advokasi reformasi politik. Artikel ini juga dapat memberikan pemikiran
baru kepada para pembuat kebijakan tentang reformasi politik yang dapat memperkuat proses demokrasi
dan memperbaiki sistem pemilu

This article discusses the Role of Political Parties in General Elections: Analysis of the
Democratic Process which focuses on the Role of Political Parties and involves General Elections and
democracy. A normative juridical approach methodology was used in this research. This research uses
literature study as a data collection method. Researchers use secondary data collection, namely
information collected from the literature by reading books, journals, and other literature sources related
to writing and conducting searches and reviews of relevant information. The role of political parties in
elections ensures representation and pluralism in the democratic process. Political parties are considered
by the Indonesian political system as the primary means of organizing democracy in the country; in other
words, democracy cannot exist in Indonesia without political parties. Therefore, laws relating to political
parties are essential to ensure the development of moral and professionally run political organizations.
General elections are one of the main foundations in a democratic system where citizens have the right to
choose their leaders. This article is expected to inspire individuals, groups and communities to take
positive steps to strengthen the role of political parties in the democratic process, both through active
political participation and advocacy of political reform. It may also provide policy makers with new ideas
on political reforms that can strengthen the democratic process and improve the electoral system
