Abstrak

Program Asistensi Mengajar merupakan implementasi Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) yang melibatkan mahasiswa dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kontribusi mahasiswa terhadap peningkatan literasi, numerasi, pembiasaan positif, dan soft skills siswa di SDN Macanan 1. Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif melalui observasi, pendampingan kelas, praktik mengajar, serta keterlibatan dalam kegiatan administrasi dan ekstrakurikuler, penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa berperan signifikan dalam memperkuat kemampuan akademik siswa melalui kegiatan literasi numerasi pagi, pendampingan materi, dan pemberian latihan terstruktur. Pada aspek non-akademik, mahasiswa membantu menumbuhkan kedisiplinan, kerja sama, tanggung jawab, serta minat dan bakat melalui kegiatan Pramuka dan drumband. Dukungan administratif yang diberikan mahasiswa turut meningkatkan efisiensi tugas guru. Secara keseluruhan, program ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran dan perkembangan karakter siswa, serta menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi berkelanjutan antara perguruan tinggi dan sekolah dasar dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan.

The Teaching Assistance Program is an implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy that involves university students in supporting the learning process in elementary schools. This study aims to analyze the contribution of university students to improving literacy, numeracy, positive habits, and students’ soft skills at SDN Macanan 1. Using a descriptive approach through observation, classroom assistance, teaching practice, and participation in administrative and extracurricular activities, the study shows that students play a significant role in strengthening academic competence through morning literacy–numeracy activities, material reinforcement, and structured practice sessions. In the non-academic domain, students help cultivate discipline, cooperation, responsibility, as well as students’ interests and talents through activities such as Scouts and drumband. Administrative support provided by university students also enhances the efficiency of teachers’ tasks. Overall, the program has a positive impact on learning effectiveness and students’ character development, highlighting the importance of sustained collaboration between higher education institutions and elementary schools in improving the quality of education.
