LANDASAN BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING DI ERA MODERN/DIGITAL PADA TINGKAT SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstrak

Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) merupakan komponen penting dalam sistem pendidikan yang berperan mendukung perkembangan peserta didik secara personal, sosial, akademik, dan karier. Kompleksitas permasalahan peserta didik di era pendidikan kontemporer menuntut layanan BK yang tidak hanya bersifat responsif, tetapi juga berlandaskan pijakan teoretis yang kuat dan komprehensif. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis secara mendalam landasan Bimbingan dan Konseling yang meliputi aspek filosofis, psikologis, pedagogis, sosiologis, dan yuridis, serta menelaah relevansinya dalam menjawab tantangan layanan BK di lingkungan pendidikan saat ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur, dengan sumber data berupa jurnal ilmiah nasional terakreditasi dan buku-buku akademik yang relevan. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis isi untuk mengidentifikasi, mengkategorikan, dan mensintesis konsep serta temuan penelitian terkait landasan BK. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman yang komprehensif terhadap seluruh landasan BK merupakan prasyarat utama bagi terselenggaranya layanan BK yang profesional, sistematis, dan berorientasi pada kebutuhan perkembangan peserta didik. Temuan juga mengungkap bahwa lemahnya pemahaman terhadap salah satu landasan, khususnya landasan yuridis, berpotensi menimbulkan kesenjangan antara kebijakan dan praktik layanan BK di sekolah. Implikasi kajian ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan landasan Bimbingan dan Konseling dalam pendidikan dan pengembangan profesional konselor sebagai pijakan konseptual untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan BK yang adaptif dan berkelanjutan.

Guidance and Counseling (GC) is an important component in the education system that plays a role in supporting the development of students personally, socially, academically, and careerally. The complexity of students' problems in the contemporary education era demands GC services that are not only responsive, but also based on a strong and comprehensive theoretical footing. This article aims to describe and analyze in depth the foundations of Guidance and Counseling which include philosophical, psychological, pedagogical, sociological, and juridical aspects, as well as examine its relevance in answering the challenges of GC services in the current educational environment. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method, with data sources in the form of accredited national scientific journals and relevant academic books. Data was analyzed using content analysis techniques to identify, categorize, and synthesize concepts and research findings related to the foundation of GC. The results of the study show that a comprehensive understanding of all the foundations of GC is the main prerequisite for the implementation of professional, systematic, and developmentally oriented GC services. The findings also reveal that a weak understanding of one of the foundations, especially the juridical foundation, has the potential to create a gap between policies and practices of GC services in schools. The implications of this study affirm the importance of strengthening the foundation of Guidance and Counseling in the education and professional development of counselors as a conceptual foothold to improve the quality of adaptive and sustainable GC services.
