OPTIMALISASI FUNGSI MASJID SEBAGAI PUSAT EDUKASI DAN SOSIAL MELALUI PROGRAM KKN DI MASJID MIFTAHUL HUDA

Abstrak

Miftahul Huda Mosque, located in Borang Village, Palembang, plays a crucial role in fostering the Muslim generation, yet it faces increasingly complex proselytizing (dakwah) challenges in the digital era. Current phenomena indicate a gap between the potential of the youth and traditional dakwah methods that remain collective, less interactive, and poorly adapted to developments in information technology. This community service program, conducted by KKN Group 234, aimed to optimize the mosque's function as an educational and social center through the empowerment of mosque youth and the local community. the implementation followed educational, participatory, and collaborative approaches, encompassing creative dakwah strategies and digital media integration. The results of this activity indicated that the children gained beneficial and blessed knowledge, alongside a significant increase in literacy interest regarding Iqro and the Al-Qur'an. This program has successfully strengthened the mosque's role in producing inspiring, adaptive, and transformative young preachers who uphold the values of Rahmatan lil ‘Alamin.
