ANALISIS TINGKAT KOMPETENSI PEDAGOGIK GURU GEOGRAFI PADA SMA NEGERI DI KECAMATAN KOTO TANGAH TAHUN AJARAN 2022/2023

Abstrak

Pedagogical competence is a teacher's ability to manage student learning, where pedagogical competence is very important for achieving the desired learning goals. This research aims to determine the level of pedagogical competence of geography teachers at State High Schools in Koto Tangah District. This research uses descriptive research with quantitative methods. The population and sample are all geography teachers who teach at state high schools in Koto Tangah sub-district, the sampling technique uses a saturated sample technique with a total of 7 geography teachers. Data collection techniques were carried out in the form of questionnaires, observation and documentation using descriptive percentage data analysis techniques. The research results show that the pedagogical competence of geography teachers is classified into the very good category with a percentage of 91.4%. Level. The pedagogical competence of geography teachers for each indicator will be described as follows: (1) 84.9% understand the characteristics of students from physical, moral, spiritual, social, cultural and intellectual aspects, which is very good. (2) 92.8% mastered learning theory and educational learning principles which was classified as very good. (3) 89.8% developing a curriculum related to geography subjects is classified as very good. (4) 91.9% held educational learning which was classified as very good. (5) 85.7% utilize information and communication technology for learning purposes which is classified as very good. (6) 83.9% facilitate the development of students' potential to actualize their potential which is classified as very good. (7) 97% communicate effectively, empathetically and politely with students, which is considered very good. (8) 97.9% carried out assessments and evaluations of learning processes and outcomes classified as very good. (9) 99.1% use of assessment and evaluation for learning purposes is classified as very good.

Kompetensi pedagogik merupakan kemampuan seorang guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran peserta didik, dimana kompetensi pedagogoik sangat penting untuk tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran yang diinginkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kompetensi pedagogik guru geografi pada SMA Negeri di Kecamatan Koto Tangah. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskrptif dengan metode kuantitatif. Populasi dan sampel adalah semua guru geografi yang mengajar di SMA Negeri pada kecamatan Koto tangah, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh dengan jumlah 7 guru geografi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan berupa angket, observasi dan dokumentasi dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi pedagogik guru geografi tergolong kedalam kategori sangat baik dengan persentase 91,4%. Tingkat. kompetensi pedagogik guru geografi untuk setiap indikator akan dijabarkan sebagai berikut : (1) 84,9% memahami karakteristik peserta didik dari aspek fisik, moral, spritual, sosial, kultural, dan intelektual tergolong sanagt baik. (2) 92,8% menguasai teori belajar dan prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran yang mendidik tergolong sangat baik. (3) 89,8% mengembangkan kurikulum yang terkait dengan mata pelajaran geografi tergolong sangat baik. (4) 91,9% menyelenggarakan pembelajaran yang mendidik tergolong sangat baik. (5) 85,7% memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk kepentingan pembelajaran tergolong sangat baik. (6) 83,9% memfasilitasi pengembangan potensi peserta didik untuk mengaktualisasikan potensi yang dimiliki tergolong sangat baik. (7) 97% berkomunikasi secara efektif, empatik dan santun dengan peserta didik tergolong sangat baik. (8) 97,9% menyelenggarakan penilaian dan evaluasi proses dan hasil belajar tergolong sangat baik. (9) 99,1% memanfaatkan penilaian dan evaluasi untuk kepentingan pembelajaran tergolong sangat baik.
