Drug distribution is a critical stage in the pharmaceutical service system, playing a role in ensuring the quality, safety, and effectiveness of drugs throughout the distribution process until they are received by healthcare facilities. Good Drug Distribution Practices (GDP) are mandatory standards for Pharmaceutical Wholesalers (PBF) to minimize the risk of quality deviations, counterfeiting, and damage during shipping. This study aims to determine the implementation of GDP in the operational aspects of receiving, packaging, and shipping at PBF X, Gorontalo City. The study used a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Data collection was conducted through interviews with the responsible pharmacist. The results indicate that the implementation of GDP in the operational aspects at PBF X generally meets GDP standards, with the receiving aspect receiving a score of 100%, the packaging aspect receiving a score of 100%, and the shipping aspect receiving a score of 90%, all three being categorized as good. Deficiencies were found in the shipping aspect, where temperature control during distribution was not optimal. It was concluded that PBF X has implemented GDP effectively in the operational aspects, but improvements are still needed, particularly in the quality monitoring system during the distribution process.
