PENDEKATAN PENGEMBANGAN KURIKULUM

Abstrak

Pengembangan kurikulum merupakan proses berkelanjutan dan sistematis yang mencerminkan filosofi pendidikan, psikologi belajar, serta kebutuhan sosial masyarakat. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan berbagai pendekatan dalam pengembangan kurikulum, seperti pendekatan akademik, humanistik, teknologis, dan rekonstruksi sosial. Dengan menggunakan metode kajian literatur kualitatif dari berbagai penelitian terbaru (2019–2024), penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana setiap pendekatan berkontribusi terhadap efektivitas implementasi kurikulum. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi berbagai pendekatan dapat menghasilkan desain kurikulum yang lebih komprehensif dan responsif terhadap tantangan abad ke-21.

Curriculum development is a continuous and systematic process that reflects the educational philosophy, psychology of learning, and social needs of society. This paper aims to describe several approaches to curriculum development, including academic, humanistic, technological, and social reconstruction approaches. Using a qualitative literature review method from recent studies (2019–2024), this study analyzes how each approach contributes to achieving effective curriculum implementation. The results show that integrating multiple approaches provides a more comprehensive and responsive curriculum design to address the challenges of the 21st century.
