EFEKTIVITAS SISTEM ADMINISTRASI SEKOLAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN PELAYANAN PENDIDIKAN

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas sistem administrasi sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan pendidikan. Sistem administrasi yang baik menjadi kunci dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran dan kepuasan stakeholder pendidikan. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi di tiga sekolah menengah atas di Kota Medan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi sistem administrasi yang terstruktur dan berbasis teknologi mampu meningkatkan efisiensi layanan akademik sebesar 65%, mempercepat proses pengolahan data siswa, serta meningkatkan kepuasan orang tua dan siswa terhadap layanan sekolah. Faktor pendukung utama meliputi kompetensi tenaga administrasi, ketersediaan infrastruktur teknologi, dan komitmen manajemen sekolah. Kendala yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan anggaran, resistensi terhadap perubahan, dan kesenjangan kompetensi digital. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi staf administrasi, investasi dalam sistem informasi manajemen sekolah, dan pengembangan standar operasional prosedur yang jelas untuk mengoptimalkan pelayanan pendidikan.

This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of school administration systems in improving the quality of educational services. A good administration system is key to supporting the learning process and stakeholder satisfaction in education. The study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies in three senior high schools in Medan City. The results of the study show that the implementation of a structured and technology-based administrative system can increase the efficiency of academic services by 65%, speed up the processing of student data, and increase the satisfaction of parents and students with school services. The main supporting factors include the competence of administrative staff, the availability of technological infrastructure, and the commitment of school management. Challenges faced include budget constraints, resistance to change, and digital competency gaps. This study recommends the importance of continuous training for administrative staff, investment in school management information systems, and the development of clear standard operating procedures to optimise educational services.
