The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the use of information technology in education through the implementation of distance learning. This study aims to describe the utilization of information technology in learning during the pandemic and the changes that occurred in the post-pandemic era. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study using national journal sources published between 2020–2025. The findings show that technologies such as Zoom, Google Classroom, WhatsApp Groups, and Learning Management Systems played an essential role in maintaining the continuity of learning. However, their implementation faced challenges, including limited devices, uneven internet access, low digital literacy, and psychological pressure on students and teachers. In the post-pandemic period, the use of technology continues through the adoption of hybrid learning, blended learning, and the integration of LMS into instructional activities. These findings indicate that information technology has become a fundamental component of modern education and must be supported by improved digital literacy and equitable access to technology.
