Abstrak

Pemahaman Siswa Kelas X Tata Busana di SMK Swasta Putra Anda Binjai terhadap materi memasang macam-macam lengan tergolong belum optimal. Siswa sering mengalami kesulitan dalam proses memasang macam-macam lengan terkhususnya adalah lengan licin, lengan kop dan juga lengan lonceng. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menguji kelayakan media pembelajaran video tutorial sebagai sarana untuk membantu siswa memahami langkah-langkah menjahit macam-macam lengan secara sistematis dan mandiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D, yang melipiti tahapan Define, Design, Develop, dan Desseminate.. Instrumen pengumpulan data mencakup angket kebutuhan guru dan juga peserta didik, validasi ahli materi, validasi ahli media serta uji coba kepada pengguna. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan skala Likert untuk menilai kelayakan media, dan skala Guttman untuk mengukur kebutuhan pengguna. Berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media, diperoleh rata-rata skor kelayakan masing-masing sebesar 83,8% dan 87%. Keduanya termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Baik”. Hasil uji coba kepada siswa juga menunjukkan nilai kelayakan sebesar 91,4% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa media video tutorial yang dikembangkan efektif dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi Memasang Macam-Macam Lengan. Media ini dapat diakses secara online maupun offline, sehingga mendukung pembelajaran mandiri sesuai dengan prinsip kurikulum merdeka.

The understanding of Grade X Fashion Design students at SMK Swasta Anda Binjai regarding the material on attaching various sleeves is considered less than optimal. Students often experience difficulties in the process of attaching various sleeves, especially smooth sleeves, cup sleeves, and bell sleeves. This study aims to design and test the feasibility of video tutorial learning media as a means to help students understand the steps for sewing various sleeves systematically and independently. This study used a Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D development model, which includes the stages of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Data collection instruments included teacher and student needs questionnaires, validation by material experts, validation by media experts, and user trials. Data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively using a Likert scale to assess media feasibility and a Guttman scale to measure user needs.  Based on validation results by material experts and media experts, average feasibility scores were 83.8% and 87%, respectively. Both fall into the "Very Good" category. The results of the student trials also showed a feasibility score of 91.4%, categorized as "Very Good." This demonstrates that the developed video tutorial media is effective and suitable for use as a learning medium for the topic of Attaching Various Sleeves. This media can be accessed both online and offline, thus supporting independent learning in accordance with the principles of the independent curriculum.
