FAKTOR FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PEMBANGUNAN GEOTHERMAL DALAM PELAKSANAAN PEMBANGUNAN GEOTHERMAL DI DESA SOKORIA KECAMATAN NDONA TIMUR KABUPATEN ENDE

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pembangunan geothermal dalam pelaksanaan pembangunan geothermal di Desa Sokoria, Kecamatan Ndona Timur, Kabupaten Ende. Pengembangan energi panas bumi merupakan salah satu upaya pemerintah dalam meningkatkan ketersediaan energi terbarukan yang berkelanjutan serta mendukung pembangunan ekonomi masyarakat. Namun, dalam pelaksanaannya terdapat berbagai faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan pembangunan geothermal, baik dari aspek sosial, ekonomi, lingkungan, maupun kebijakan pemerintah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor utama yang mempengaruhi pembangunan geothermal di Desa Sokoria meliputi dukungan masyarakat, ketersediaan infrastruktur, peran pemerintah, kondisi lingkungan, serta dampak ekonomi yang dirasakan masyarakat setempat. Selain itu, komunikasi antara pihak pengelola proyek dan masyarakat juga menjadi faktor penting dalam menciptakan kelancaran pelaksanaan pembangunan geothermal. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kerja sama yang baik antara pemerintah, perusahaan, dan masyarakat agar pembangunan geothermal dapat berjalan secara efektif dan berkelanjutan.

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing geothermal development in the implementation of geothermal development in Sokoria Village, East Ndona District, Ende Regency. Geothermal energy development is one of the government's efforts to increase the availability of sustainable renewable energy and support community economic development. However, in its implementation, there are various factors affecting the success of geothermal development, including social, economic, environmental, and government policy aspects. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the main factors influencing geothermal development in Sokoria Village include community support, infrastructure availability, government roles, environmental conditions, and the economic impacts felt by the local community. In addition, communication between project managers and the community is also an important factor in ensuring the smooth implementation of geothermal development. Therefore, good cooperation among the government, companies, and the community is needed so that geothermal development can run effectively and sustainably.
