PENGARUH PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS X PADA MATA PELAJARAN GAMBAR TEKNIK LISTRIK DI SMK TAMAN SISSWA MOJOKERTO

Abstrak

Pendidikan merupakan aspek yang terus berkembang di era modern ini. Salah satu aspek pendidikan yang terus berkembang yakni cara proses belajar mengajar. Berkembangnya proses pembelajaran bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Salah satu bentuk berkembangnya proses pembelajaran adalah dengan adanya model pembelajaran  Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang merupakan model pembelajaran kooperatif yang membantu siswa untuk lebih aktif dan memotivasi siswa untuk saling mendukung dan berkolaborasi dalam menguasai pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran gambar teknik listrik di SMK Taman Siswa Mojokerto. Data dikumpulkan melalui hasil tes siswa dan angket respon siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PBL secara signifikan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Rata - rata nilai post-test kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Uji t menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan PBL dan yang diajar menggunakan model konvensional. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning efektif diterapkan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran gambar teknik listrik. Oleh karena itu model pembelajaran PBL di rekomendasikan untuk diaplikasikan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran yang inovatif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Education is an aspect that continues to develop in this modern era. One aspect of the development that continues to develop is the teaching and learning process. The development of the learning process aims to improve student learning outcomes. One form of the development of the learning process is the existence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model which is a cooperative learning model that helps students to be more active and motivates students to support each other and collaborate in mastering learning. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of electrical engineering drawing at SMK Taman Siswa Mojokerto. Data were collected through student test results and student response questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that the application of the PBL model significantly improves student learning outcomes. The average posttest score of the experimental class is higher than that of the control class. The t-test shows a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students taught using PBL and those taught using the conventional model. The conclusion of this study is that the Problem Based Learning learning model is effective in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of electrical engineering drawing. Therefore, the PBL learning model is recommended to be applied as an innovative learning alternative to improve student learning outcomes.
