Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan video tutorial pada materi pembuatan pola dasar badan sistem praktis siswa kelas X SMKS Setia Budi Binjai. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D, meliputi tahap Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : (1) hasil rata-rata persentase analisis kebutuhan sebesar 94,3% peserta didik dan 100% guru membutuhkan pengembangan video tutorial. (2) uji kelayakan video tutorial pada tahap validasi ahli materi memperoleh rata-rata persentase sebesar 90% dan validasi ahli media memperoleh 88%, keduanya berkriteria “Sangat Valid”. (3) tahap uji coba pengembangan video tutorial pada peserta didik memperoleh 88% (kelompok kecil), 92,4% (kelompok sedang), dan 94,4% (kelompok besar), serta uji coba kepada guru elemen dasar pola memperoleh nilai 90,7%. Secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa video tutorial yang dikembangkan mendapatkan respon sangat positif dan dinyatakan “Sangat Baik” untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran serta dapat mendukung pembelajaran mandiri peserta didik.

This study aims to develop and determine the feasibility of a tutorial video on the topic of making basic body patterns using a practical system for grade X students at SMKS Setia Budi Binjai. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4D development model, consisting of the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The results showed that: (1) based on the needs analysis, 94.3% of students and 100% of teachers required the development of the tutorial video; (2) the feasibility test results showed that the material expert validation obtained an average percentage of 90%, and the media expert validation obtained 88%, both categorized as “Very Valid”; and (3) the trial implementation with students resulted in scores of 88% (small group), 92.4% (medium group), and 94.4% (large group), while the trial with teachers obtained 90.7%. Overall, the developed tutorial video received highly positive responses and was categorized as “Very Good” for use in the learning process and supporting students’ independent learning.
