TRANSFORMASI EKONOMI SYARIAH DI INDONESIA: ANALISIS PERAN DAN PEMIKIRAN PROF. MA’RUF AMIN SEBAGAI ARUS BARU EKONOMI NASIONAL

This research aims to analyze the transformation of the Sharia economy in Indonesia and the strategic role of Prof. Dr. (H.C.) K.H. Ma’ruf Amin in formulating the "New Current of Indonesian Economy" concept. Utilizing a qualitative method with a biographical study approach and descriptive-analytical analysis, this study examines the transformation of theological-fiqh thought into macro-economic policy. The results indicate that the transition of the Sharia economy—evolving from simple interest-free banking into a national economic pillar—was driven by institutional strengthening through the DSN-MUI and KNEKS. Ma’ruf Amin's primary contribution lies in the paradigm shift from the trickle-down effect to a bottom-up strategy focusing on the empowerment of MSMEs, Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), and the integration of the financial sector with the real economy (halal industry) and social funds (ZISWAF). Despite challenges such as low literacy levels and limited expert human resources, this cross-sectoral synergy has established a strategic roadmap toward the Indonesia Gold 2045 vision.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis transformasi ekonomi syariah di Indonesia serta peran strategis Prof. Dr. (H.C.) K.H. Ma’ruf Amin dalam memformulasikan konsep "Arus Baru Ekonomi Indonesia". Melalui metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi tokoh dan analisis deskriptif-analitis, penelitian ini membedah bagaimana pemikiran teologis-fikih bertransformasi menjadi kebijakan ekonomi makro. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transisi ekonomi syariah dari sekadar perbankan tanpa bunga menjadi pilar ekonomi nasional didorong oleh penguatan institusional melalui DSN-MUI dan KNEKS. Kontribusi utama Ma’ruf Amin terletak pada pergeseran paradigma dari trickle-down effect menuju strategi bottom-up yang berfokus pada pemberdayaan UMKM, pesantren, dan integrasi sektor keuangan dengan ekonomi riil (industri halal) serta dana sosial (ZISWAF). Meskipun menghadapi tantangan berupa rendahnya literasi dan keterbatasan SDM ahli, sinergi lintas sektor ini telah membentuk peta jalan strategis menuju visi Indonesia Emas 2045.
