USING “MOCKINGBIRD” SONG TO ENHANCE STUDENTS’ PRONUNCIATION AT THE EIGHT GRADE OF SMP NEGERI 1 WERTAMRIAN

Abstrak

In this study, the researcher found the urgency of the problem is how to use mockingbird songs to improve students' pronunciation in the eighth grade of SMP Negeri 1 Wertamrian? The purpose of this study is to make students' pronunciation learning easier and more interesting in the eighth grade of SMP Negeri 1 Wertamrian. The type of research or design of this research method is classroom action research (CAR). using a qualitative descriptive approach. the results of the research from 16 students who took the pre-test had a score below 70. The results in cycle I there were 7 students whose scores were complete and 8 students whose scores were not complete. The results in cycle II were 16 students had scores above the KKM, so the percentage of success increased from pre-test, post-test cycle I and post-test II. so that the target of the research has been achieved and successful.
