Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak adanya sertifikasi halal terhadap kinerja UMKM Winasari di Desa Cimeuhmal, dengan fokus pada penjualan dan kepercayaan konsumen. Menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, tinjauan literatur, dan analisis rantai nilai. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa sertifikasi halal secara signifikan meningkatkan penjualan produk dan kepercayaan konsumen, karena sesuai dengan hukum Islam dan memperluas jangkauan pasar. Pasca-sertifikasi, UMKM Winasari mengalami peningkatan penjualan walaupun sempat mengalami penurunan akibat pandemi COVID-19. Hal ini menegaskan peran penting sertifikasi halal dalam meningkatkan kinerja bisnis dan penerimaan pasar, serta menyoroti perlunya pendidikan komprehensif mengenai sertifikasi halal bagi pelaku UMKM.

The findings show that halal certification significantly increases product sales and consumer confidence, as it complies with Islamic dietary laws and expands market reach. Post-certification, Winasari MSMEs experienced an increase in sales even though they had experienced a decline due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This emphasizes the important role of halal certification in improving business performance and market acceptance, and highlights the need for comprehensive education on halal certification for MSME actors.
