PEMANFAATAN MEDIA SOSIAL DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR MAHASISWA DI PRODI PAI UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH BENGKULU

Penelitian ini bertujan untuk menganalisis Pemanfaatan Media Sosial dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Mahasiswa di Prodi PAI Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan desain penelitian deskripsi. Proses pengumpulan data ini dilakukan dengan turun langsung ke lokasi penelitian melalui metode seperti observasi wawancara, data utama tersebut didapatkan dari beberapa pihak kunci di Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu, yaitu Ketua Program Studi, dosen pengajar, dan mahasiswa angkatan 2021 sampai dengan angkatan 2024 yang ada di program studi tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Ketua Program Studi PAI Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu menerapkan strategi integratif melalui penyediaan sarana prasarana yang memadai, penguatan kedisiplinan mahasiswa, serta pengembangan wadah organisasi. Strategi ini juga diperkuat dengan pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi dosen dan tenaga kependidikan guna menjaga ciri khas program studi, Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam memanfaatkan berbagai media sosial, seperti WhatsApp, Zoom, Google Classroom, YouTube, dan Facebook, secara optimal sebagai sarana pembelajaran dan komunikasi akademik. pemanfaatan media sosial seperti WhatsApp, TikTok, Instagram, dan YouTube di Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu terbukti efektif meningkatkan motivasi belajar serta keterampilan digital mahasiswa dalam mengoperasikan komputer dan memproduksi video tugas. Melalui berbagai fitur yang tersedia, platform tersebut menjadi sarana pendukung instruksional yang signifikan dalam mengoptimalkan proses akademik dan kreativitas mahasiswa.This study aims to analyze the Utilization of Social Media in Increasing Student Learning Motivation in the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive research design. The data collection process was carried out by going directly to the research location through methods such as observation interviews, the primary data was obtained from several key parties in the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu, namely the Head of the Study Program, teaching lecturers, and students from the 2021 to 2024 classes in the study program. The results of this study indicate that: The Head of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu applies an integrative strategy through the provision of adequate facilities and infrastructure, strengthening student discipline, and developing organizational forums. This strategy is also strengthened by ongoing training for lecturers and education staff to maintain the characteristics of the study program, the Islamic Religious Education Study Program utilizes various social media, such as WhatsApp, Zoom, Google Classroom, YouTube, and Facebook, optimally as a means of learning and academic communication. The use of social media platforms such as WhatsApp, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube in the Islamic Religious Education Study Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Bengkulu has proven effective in increasing students' learning motivation and digital skills in operating computers and producing video assignments. Through their various available features, these platforms serve as significant instructional support tools in optimizing the academic process and student creativity.
