PERANCANGAN IDENTITAS VISUAL LOGO UNTUK OBJEK WISATA TAMAN SHANGHAI, LOMBOK BARAT

The increasingly promising growth of tourism is also being utilized by the people of Lombok, tourism is not only in the Mandalika area, Lombok tourism is in fact also spreading to remote villages, one of which is the Shanghai Park tourist attraction with its uniqueness which involves elements of Chinese culture and is a typical attraction of the place with The facilities and concept of a unique tourist building can become one of the tourist attractions of choice for the people in Lombok. However, Shanghai Park still has obstacles in building branding, through visual identity, such as a logo. The aim is to design a visual identity logo for the Shanghai Park tourist attraction so that the Shanghai Park tourist attraction has its own visual identity so that it can be easily identified. Designing the visual identity of the Shanghai Park Logo using the Design Thinking design method with a design process that involves users, each stage of which is relevant to the problem being studied. The design is carried out in 5 stages of Design Thinking, namely the Empathize, Define, Ideat and Test. Combining visual elements, representing elements of Chinese culture with nature that are easy to recognize and remember. Apart from the visual identity of the Logo, GSM (Graphic Standard Manual) design and supporting element design as a medium to strengthen the identity of the Shanghai Park and communicate the visual identity of the Logo that has been designed. The method used in this design is direct observation visiting the Shanghai Park Tour, in-depth interviews with resource persons from Shanghai Park, as well as documenting several iconic objects from Shanghai Park Tourism which were used as visual references during the process of designing the Shanghai Park Logo. This final design provides a visual identity display of the logo for Shanghai Park and the supporting design elements are proven to represent the Shanghai Park tourist attraction as a tourist attraction.
Pertumbuhan pariwisata yang semakin menjanjikan juga dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat Lombok,pariwisata tidak hanya di daerah Mandalika, pariwisata Lombok nyatanya juga menyebar sampai kepelosok Desa, salah satunya adalah objek wisata Taman Shanghai dengan keunikan yang melibatkan unsur budaya tionghoa dan menjadi daya tarik khas dari tempat tersebut dengan fasilitas dan konsep bangunan wisata yang khas, dapat menjadi salah satu objek wisata pilihan masyarakat di Lombok. Namun, Taman Shanghai masih memiliki kendala dalam membangun branding, melalui identitas visual, seperti Logo. Perancangan dilakukan dengan 5 tahapan Design Thinking yaitu tahap Empathize, Devine, Ideat, Prototype dan Test. Mengkombinasikan elemen-elem visual, merepresentasikan unsur kebudayaan tionghoa dengan alam yang mudah dikenali dan dingat. Selain identitas visual Logo, Desain GSM (Graphic Standar Manual) dan disain elemen pendukung sebagai media untuk memperkuat identitas Taman Shanghai dan mengkomunikan identitas visual Logo yang telah dirancang. Final Rancangan ini memberikan tampilan identitas visual Logo untuk taman shanghai dan elemen disain pendukungnya terbukti merepresentasikan objek wisata Taman Shanghai sebagai wisata.
