PENGARUH PAPARAN GAME MOBILE LEGENDS TERHADAP KONTROL EMOSI ANAK SEKOLAH DASAR: TINJAUAN LITERATUR

The use of online games such as Mobile Legends among elementary school children has increased in line with the advancement of digital technology. This article presents a literature review of studies examining the impact of exposure to Mobile Legends on the emotional regulation of children aged 6 to 12 years. The findings indicate that although there are some benefits, such as improved concentration and enhanced English vocabulary, the negative effects tend to be more dominant. These include impaired self-control, aggressive behavior, and emotional instability. Social factors, such as peer pressure and inadequate parental supervision, further exacerbate these issues. On the other hand, emotional regulation training has been proven effective in helping children manage their emotions healthily. Therefore, the active involvement of families, schools, and policymakers is essential in guiding the responsible use of digital games.
Penggunaan game daring seperti Mobile Legends oleh anak sekolah dasar semakin meningkat seiring perkembangan teknologi digital. Artikel ini merupakan tinjauan literatur terhadap studi yang membahas pengaruh paparan Mobile Legends terhadap kontrol emosi anak usia 6–12 tahun. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat manfaat seperti peningkatan konsentrasi dan kosakata bahasa Inggris, dampak negatif lebih dominan, termasuk gangguan kontrol diri, perilaku agresif, dan ketidakstabilan emosi. Faktor sosial seperti pengaruh teman sebaya dan kurangnya pengawasan orang tua turut memperburuk kondisi ini. Di sisi lain, pelatihan regulasi emosi terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan anak mengelola emosi secara sehat. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan peran aktif keluarga, sekolah, dan pemangku kebijakan dalam mengatur penggunaan game digital secara bijak.
